Freedom Quilt Experience is a truly collaborative effort between RedLine, District 475 quilters around Colorado to commemorate those who perished in the 9/11 attacks. Events related to this exhibition will be occuring at RedLine, Civic Center Park, and District 475. District 475 will be the recepient of one of the pieces of steel that will be traveling from New York to select locations to recognize the 10 year anniversary of those lost in 9/11.
Cynthia Martin, curator and educator, has been working with multiple quilting guilds over the past three months to create ten 10' x 3' quilts. To view more images of the quilt and the quilters progress please click here.
