MEMBER’S RECEPTION WITH CURATOR + ARTISTS 6-7PM

PUBLIC RECEPTION: 7-9PM

RedLine is pleased to announce its annual Resident Artist’s exhibition, Material Engagements.  Harmony Hammond, artist and independent curator will transform RedLine's Exhibition Hall by asking resident artists to explore the concept of "material engagements."

She explains:

"Material Engagements" presumes that materials and their manner of manipulation and presentation function as carriers of meaning as much as sign, symbol, and representation. It presumes an aesthetic activism, an intentionality of content. It intends to interrogate occupations, intersections, erasures and spaces of complex messy positionings.

The opening reception for RedLine members will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 6pm and will feature a curatorial walk-through with Ms. Hammond. This will be followed by a public reception from 7-9pm.

Please see reviews for this exhibition in Westord and the Denver Post.
