Submission Guidelines for Exhibition Proposals

RedLine invites artists and curators worldwide to submit exhibition proposals. Space for exhibitions is limited and highly competitive. Our exhibition schedule is carefully balanced to present our viewers with an outstanding contemporary art program. RedLine' s exhibition committee will review proposals twice a year. The deadlines to receive proposals for review are July 1st – Sept 1st

All submissions should include the following:

* Cover letter with contact information

* Exhibition Proposal/Curatorial Summary (up to 1 page)

* Biography(ies) and/or Résumé(s) of artist (s) and/or curator.

* Artist Statement(s) (up to 1 page per artist)

* Representation of work in one of the following formats:

            -Emailed Jpegs of the work (5-10) to louise.martorano@redlineart.org
            -For Web-based projects, please include URL address in the proposal

All materials should be emailed in digital form to louise.martorano@redlineart.org

Please be advised that no materials will be returned. Do not include exhibition catalogues or original artworks.

Due to the large volume of submissions, we cannot respond individually. An e-mail notification will be sent within 6 months.  Proposals can be submitted for the following gallery spaces:

*Redline Project Space is a large room approximately 42' x 36' with a full wall of glass windows on the North-East side. Movable walls are available to divide the space. Doors are locked outside of RedLine open hours.
*RedLine Main Gallery is a large hall (78' x 34') surrounded by resident artists' studios. Artists and curators must take into consideration that this space is accessible 24 hours a day by resident artists and staff. Four concrete pillars stand in the space. Movable walls are available to divide the space.

Thank you for your interest in RedLine.
