Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, 1984

Alicia Ordal is a mixed media artist who graduated with a B.F.A. from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in 2007. Her RedLine residency began in 2008. She has shown extensively in and around the Denver area and has worked on multiple community projects and performances in the past year. Alicia’s work focuses on the recontextualization of ideas and materials. Many of her influences come from the fractured realities that have evolved from internet culture.

Alicia’s influences and inspirations have come from a variety of sources including film, music, religion, Dadaism, 1970’s Punk, sci-fi, fantasy, the digital world and the multiple identities people inhabit.
