RedLine Denver is one of three RedLines that are in the process of forming an Artist-In-Residence Alliance program. In addition to Denver, RedLine Milwaukee is online and RedLine Copenhagen is in its pilot phase. From January through May 2012, RedLine will be partnering with the City of Copenhagen, Wooloo and 15 internationally selected residents to identify the social and cultural needs of the Sankt Kjelds Kvarter neighborhood of Copenhagen proper. It is the perfect opportunity for RedLine to land and plant a seed.
In the next phase, RedLine will be working intimately with the community to find out what social and cultural programming they are wanting and needing. At this point too, the neighborhood has diverse perspectives on what culture means for the neighborhood. Thus, RedLine will be working to define what this means to them and how that definition will take shape. To watch RedLine Copenhagen's developments in the coming months please visit Sankt Kjelds.
