We’re also excited to amplify an upcoming exhibition featuring REACH Core Artist Myra Nagy!

Check out our newest press and other Colorado art events happening this May below.

The Maven Unveils 7 Murals by RedLine Resident Artists

Mural by Koko Bayer

The Mile High CRE recently wrote an article about our collaboration with The Maven Hotel, which resulted in an incredible opportunity for some of our Residents Artists and Alumni to showcase their talent in a truly unique way.

Situated in LoDo’s Dairy Block micro-district, The Maven unveiled seven stunning murals created by RedLine artists, including Resident Artists, Alumni, and previously exhibiting artist.

Working closely with us, The Maven provided a platform for our resident and alumni artists to display their work on each floor of the hotel.

Among the featured artists are Sandra Fettingis, Ramon Bonilla, JayCee Beyale, Lares Feliciano, Gregg Deal, Koko Bayer, and Jasmine Holmes. Their diverse styles and perspectives enhance the experience at The Maven, creating an immersive experience for visitors and locals.

We're very proud of our artists and grateful to The Maven for providing this incredible opportunity. This collaboration not only showcases the talent within our community, but also strengthens the bond between arts and society.

Next time you find yourself in LoDo, be sure to visit The Maven hotel and experience the artistic brilliance of our RedLine artists firsthand!

RedLine Highlighted in Colorado 350’s “Art & Activism” Column

Writer Susan Heske recently featured RedLine in Colorado 350’s Art & Activism column last month for our programs that operate at the intersection of arts and ecology.

Colorado 350 is a grassroots organization dedicated to climate activism and environmental advocacy. They’re committed to raising awareness, driving action, and promoting sustainable solutions in Colorado.

From our regranting work with FEMA to ecological justice-focused Arts in Society grantees—like the The Prairie Sea Projects—the article showcases RedLine programs designed to support and inspire the next wave of community and environmental activism in rural Colorado.

About the artist: Myra Nagy aka Chacalit I am an African American woman about middle age. I have gone through several different hard times, including homelessness, mental & substance conditions, and family loss.

My creative therapy is to express things in my art. I create all different types of art using painting, sewing, writing, and now clay manipulation. I feel that my writing can tell stories and keep me out of my head.

These things help me to recover from the experiences that held me down but now lift me up. I strive to show other people of color, age, and through recovery that it is possible to keep pressing forward no matter what.
