Washington Post Highlights RedLine in Denver Arts Roundup
New York, Paris, Miami…Denver? Our city isn’t exactly known for being one of the world’s most cutting-edge arts destinations. But here at RedLine, we know better.
Our community’s artists are boundary breakers, taste makers, and movers and shakers. They’re at the forefront of new artistic mediums, spectacular solo shows, and exhilarating exhibitions. Their heart, vision, and ambition know no bounds, and it’s an honor to witness how Denver artists continue to inspire far beyond our city’s limits.
And the world is catching on: The Washington Post recently ran a piece highlighting the ways in which Denver is making a name for itself as an arts destination. They featured RedLine as one of the many must-see art stops in our city, along with other powerful community partners.
“ ‘I think Denver has always had a robust art scene. There have always been artists here, from graffiti writers, to visual artists, to graphic designers, to photographers, there’s a ton of art represented here,’ said Andrew Novick, a lifelong, well-known Denver creative. ‘But it’s not really been known to outside folks until more recently.’ ”
We hope this type of ongoing coverage will help put Denver on the map as a major arts city. But if not, we’ll continue to enjoy this hidden hub of creatives!
