Hyperallergic Highlights "Carey Fisher" Exhibition
Last month, we were thrilled to read The Denver Post’s enthusiastic review our Carey Fisher exhibition.
This month, we were equally elated to discover that Sommer Browning of Hyperallergic also showed the exhibition some love with a thoughtful and poignant review of Beau and Ian’s paintings.
If you aren’t already familiar, Carey Fisher is a two-person exhibition featuring new paintings by RedLine Resident Artist alumni Beau Carey and Ian Fisher.
The show is curated by Cortney Lane Stell, an independent curator and the Executive Director + Chief Curator of Black Cube, a nomadic contemporary art museum in Denver, Colorado.
The exhibition marks the first of several exhibitions that celebrate RedLine’s 15th year anniversary. It features entirely new works created this year — almost all of them explicitly for this exhibition.
There’s only one week left to experience this popular and awe-inspiring exhibition. If the images of Carey and Fisher’s gorgeous paintings aren’t bait enough, we’re confident this Hyperallergic review will offer a final nudge to experience the show before it’s gone.
