About Colorado Native Organization
The Colorado Native Organization is a Native Arts and Culture Organization dedicated to inter-tribal arts and cultural revitalization.
Our mission is to provide free cultural arts education to Native youth, families and elders.
We are dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich heritage of various Tribes by providing transformative learning experiences that honor traditional practices and encourage the next generation of artists and cultural stewards.
Colorado Native Cultural Enrichment Program
The Colorado Native Cultural Enrichment Program (CEP) is a community-based initiative dedicated to empowering Native American and Indigenous youth through free weekly arts and culture classes.
The CEP is rooted in traditional values and protocols of Indigenous communities. The program provides a safe and nurturing environment where young participants can explore their creativity, express themselves, and connect with their cultural heritage.
Colorado Native Organization at RedLine Contemporary Art Center
Through workshops in traditional and contemporary arts, beadwork, quillwork, powwow dance, drumming, and regalia making, the program fosters a sense of pride, belonging, and resilience.
Native Youth Outdoor Program
The Native Youth Outdoor Program (NYOP) is an immersive, culturally-centered initiative designed to reconnect Native youth with the land and their cultural heritage.
This program focuses on revitalizing Indigenous traditions, knowledge, and identity through a variety of outdoor activities that blend environmental education with cultural practice.
By grounding youth in traditional ecological knowledge, storytelling, language, and spiritual connections to natural landscapes, this program strengthens cultural identity and fosters a sense of responsibility toward stewardship of ancestral lands.
