The Clinic: Art and Heart of Healthcare
RedLine Fiscal Sponsorship
The Clinic: Art and Heart of Healthcare is driven by the belief that all individuals deserve to be seen, heard, and cared for with dignity and without discrimination.
We create arts and play-based experiences to foster reflection, connection, and collective care for healthcare workers, providing immersive environments where they can nurture their well-being.
By supporting healthcare providers in this way, we aim to improve the care they give to patients. Our mission also focuses on dismantling personal bias and systemic racism in healthcare, fostering resilience through systemic change, and bringing joy, beauty, and wonder into healthcare interactions.
Vision
We’re committed to raising awareness and combating compassion fatigue and burnout among nurses and caregivers, helping them rediscover the joy of caring for others. By creating trauma-informed, safe spaces for reflection and emotional processing, we support healthcare workers’ resilience and well-being.
Our goal is to break down hierarchical barriers, reduce workplace violence, and create a sense of community and belonging within healthcare systems. Ultimately, we aim to foster a culture where healthcare providers thrive, leading to more sustainable and joyful work environments.
Impact
The Clinic is dedicated to transforming healthcare by supporting nurses and caregivers, addressing the growing crisis of burnout and compassion fatigue. Through trauma-informed approaches, arts-based experiences, and community-building, we help healthcare providers reconnect with the joy of care.
By decreasing workplace violence and promoting self and collective care, we work to create lasting, systemic changes that improve healthcare environments. Our work contributes to reduced turnover rates, greater job satisfaction, and stronger connections between providers and patients.

The Clinic is a movement that merges art and healthcare to ensure that healing happens through human connection as much as through medical intervention.

We’re looking for bold funders who can commit to supporting ongoing arts and play-based workshops for our healthcare teams at Denver Health. Denver Health’s program RESTORE has requested specifically for ongoing arts and play-based DEIB workshops for their healthcare teams to help them embody the DEIB work they are navigating as an organization.
This support will ensure that every employee that receives Denver Health’s DEIB trauma informed training will also have time and space to embody this training through the arts, movement, and play. This means they will be able to integrate, reflect, debrief, and further navigate their DEIB journey as individuals, collectives, and as a system. This embodiment impacts the ways this work is then integrated into patient care and its impact on social determinants of health and health disparities.
We’re looking to raise $200,000 to offer two years of these workshops as a pilot in hopes these workshops can be part of every new employee's orientation at Denver Health.
Thank you for considering!
