Meet 2022-2024 RedLine Resident Artist Autumn T. Thomas! Autumn is an interdisciplinary artist currently working in wood sculpture. Her work challenges the boundaries of visual literacy by transforming wood into soft, twisting forms, mimicking the endurance required to thrive amidst the oppression and marginalization of women of color. Where Are The Boundaries? was a digital content series + virtual panel produced by Denise Zubizarreta and RedLine in honor of Earth Day. This virtual panel was an exploration of approaches to assisting individuals and groups to enter states of consciousness conducive to creative expression by exploring multiple techniques and blocks that can enhance the creative practice.
