Alexi High

Alexi is a native of Denver and a graduate of the Denver School of the Arts and Kansas City Art Institute. His knowledge and experience in the arts span over 20 years.

He could well be described as an aesthetic scatterbrain by nature but organizationally savvy by trade. He is a voracious problem solver and has inhabited a lot of “maker” roles in his life. Some of them have been distinctly creative and others more project management oriented.

Alexi graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute with his BFA in ceramics but quickly began exploring the word of metal fabrication after college. Currently, he is exploring pottery and figurative ceramic sculpture.

He has been included in several gallery shows and has had solo shows in Kansas City and Denver. He has been a finalist for several public art projects and has completed two public art projects for the city of Denver.
