Ashley Frazier
Ashley Frazier is an interdisciplinary artist and curator. Her work explores concepts of place and identity with an emphasis on dichotomy.
Her process involves collecting and cataloging, repeating and reflecting, demolishing and reconstructing. Ashley’s works are installation focused, incorporating sculpture, collage, digital and assemblage.
Ashley received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Metropolitan State University where she was awarded the Academic Plein Air Residency at Ghost Ranch New Mexico and received a certificate of appreciation for her art contribution to the 2nd Annual Remembering Rwanda Genocide Prevention Conference.
Ashley is a RedLine Residency Artist Alumni, former member of Ice Cube Gallery, and is recognized as one of Westword’s Colorado Creatives.
Her work can be found in various collections ranging from commercial, to residential, and exhibition spaces throughout the Denver Metro Area – notably Block 162, TransMontaigne and the Rose Community Foundation. One of Ashley’s most recent projects involved a permanent installation at Meow Wolf Denver’s Convergence Station.
Her related work experience includes development and events at RedLine Contemporary Art Center. Alongside her art practice, Ashley is currently managing the Charles Schwab Print Program Art Collection for Liz Graham Art Consulting.
