"My name's Christine Nguyen, I'm a mixed media artist. I work in various materials and processes such as photography, drawing, salt crystallizing objects, and my paintings as well as cyanotypes.

"My inspiration is derived from nature and the cosmos. And I'm always interplaying with the micro and macro world, where looking into a microscope is very similar to looking into a telescope. And within that, I try and place ourselves within the cosmos.

"Being new to Colorado, I really wanted to be a part of the community and learn more about the community and get to know people.

"I'm really excited about creating little installations in this studio. And then being a part of RedLine, I'm hoping to do more community workshops and collaborating with them."

Meet Resident Artist Autumn T. Thomas

Autumn T. Thomas is an interdisciplinary artist currently working in wood sculpture.

Her work challenges the boundaries of visual literacy by transforming wood into soft, twisting forms, mimicking the endurance required to thrive amidst the oppression and marginalization of women of color.
