Baolis act as sites of a congregation. Inspired by the Indian historic step-well where people assemble to draw water or to cool down from the heat, this installation creates a space for people to gather and exchange ideas and lived experiences, acting as a liaison that connects Asian art, culture and social dialogue to Denver-based relevant issues.

Multiple tactile sculptural pieces examining the natural history of six noisy, urban and rural birds common throughout North America. Each low relief picture will accurately depict one species, and will be accessible to both sighted and visually-impaired audiences.

A collaboration between two musicians, taking a toy piano out into three distinct landscapes surrounding the Denver region: the mountains, the city, and the plains--to perform music written for those very spots, with a focus on the interactions between music and Colorado ecology.

An interactive graphic narrative experience for two people that is controlled by sensor enabled rocking chairs. The piece reflects on deep time by portraying the last 10,000 years of the life of Pando, an aspen colony which is one of the oldest and largest living organisms on earth.
