My name is Ashtin Barber. I am almost 17 and go to Thomas Jefferson High School. The pandemic has made me feel bored, anxious and surprised. Right now, the most important things I miss are going to school and hanging out at the movie theater, parks and going to the rec centers and the gym.

I took a photo of an empty street that is usually busy. To me it represents either peacefulness or silence. I chose to take this photo and add the words “Peace & Quiet” to express how much more peaceful having less noise outside has been.

My hope for the future is that people can work on how they react to situations like this instead of over reacting, or making it worse for the people that are affected more severely.
