My name is Santina Felix. I’m 18 years old and in 11th grade attending GES Colorado High School Charter. The pandemic has made me feel lonely and depressed and overall I feel like I have no home or relations to anyone but myself. Right now, the most important things I miss are my friends in South Dakota, my family in South Dakota and my older brother, Dad and nature in South Dakota. 

The photo I submitted represents my life and how I loved the things I left in South Dakota.  I chose to take this photo and add my love for nature with the word “dreaming” to express a wondering state of my mind to others who look at it.

My hope for the future is that I can go back to my hometown in South Dakota and reunite with my friends and family.
