Bruce Randolph School

Katrina Hedrick teaches secondary music education at Bruce Randolph Schools in Denver, Colorado. She specializes in culturally responsive music education practices, and contemporary American music and cultures. Her classes involve use of arrangements and compositions using production technology; performance ensembles of a variety of instruments based on student interest; the exploration and personal analysis of American musical cultures to develop students’ artistic identities. Hedrick holds a Masters of Music in Music Education from Colorado State University (2018), Bachelors of Arts in Music Education from Fort Lewis College (2010), and her Orff Schulwerk Teacher Certification from University of Nevada, Las Vegas (2014).
