Hi, I am Rebecca Dayhuff. I am a junior in high school, the school that I go to is called the Joan Farley Academy. I am 17 years old. This pandemic has made me feel disconnected, lonely, sad, and in ways Deshappy. Right now the things I miss that are the most important are my family, my friends, going out on recs, and being in the outside world. Being in this crisis has put this world in a different light and I have captured the photo of this river to show some of the beauty that I have noticed since the pandemic began. I chose to take my photo and added the word peaceful to it, because the world has been more peaceful and kind since this pandemic started. This picture shows what beauty can be seen if we just stop and look around. The reason I chose this particular picture and word is to show how beautiful everything or everyone can be if we treated each other as if there was a pandemic going on, as we all know people aren’t kind all the time and this pandemic has brought out the best in people.
