My name is Justyce Garner. I am 16 years old and I'm in the class of 2022 attending Northeast Early College. The pandemic has made me feel alone, stressed and a little depressed. Right now, the most important things I miss are my friends, soccer and just being able to go out freely without a mask and without needing to be extra cautious of what we touch.
I took a photo of my cat Oreo. To me it represents a sign of hope and he is kind like my support animal in all of this. I chose to take this photo and add the words hope and happiness and also make my cat stand out from the whole picture to express joy and express that he has helped me the most throughout this whole pandemic.
My hope for the future is that we can all work together and stay home. Just by staying home we’re saving the world. The thing that isn’t making this pandemic end any faster, is countries opening back up because people are begging to be able to go out. When we should all just be patient and wait for the coronavirus line to flatten. But I hope people will learn this and not mess up my future, especially since people already ruined the class of 2020.
